Thanks to Dr. John Swaddle from W&M’s Biology Department who shared info on noise pollution and how it affects breeding success of bluebirds!

Many thanks go to Janet Curtis, Chair of our Host Committee who brought two beautiful cakes with our VMN logo. She and the committee decorated the Multi-purpose Room. We held our meeting in the Auditorium of the Human Services Building.

Jennifer Trevino and Sharon Plocher, co-chairs of the Basic Training Committee, prepared certificates and great gifts for the 19 graduates of Basic Training and everyone loved viewing the posters Sharon created from photos taken during Cohort VI’s training sessions and field trips.

Along with “found” boxes, poles, and baffles plus some donations and purchases, they worked March 10 and 11 to fine tune the boxes, make repairs, and install TWELVE boxes at Freedom Park.
