Projects fall generally into four categories: Citizen Science (bird counts, butterfly counts, frog and toad counts, etc.), Education (programs for children and adults, booths at park events, etc.), Stewardship (clearing trails at parks, removing invasive species, etc.), and administration (projects to make the chapter run smoothly). See a list of some of the projects here.
Members of the HRC should check the Master Naturalist Volunteer Management System for details and contact info for current projects.
Member should submit project proposals by downloading the Volunteer Project Proposal Requirements and Forms document available in Word format or pdf format, and submiting Part 1 to Susan Powell or Cherie Aukland.
